That is presuming Jews feel special.
If Christians had been the majority Israeli State in partition you think the outcome today would have been different?

This conflict is a consequence of Zionist ideology, shippy.

that European Jewish immigrants could simply displace the existing population from the land!

OK that’s your opinion.
I can assure you, that not the whole of the Jewish community live or want to live in Israel.
After the second world war, Jews of Europe were given the choice of going to the US and the U.K. took in many hundreds of orphaned children.
I am fed up trying to justify to you the war in Gaza wasn’t the fault of the IDF.
. If you keep returning to 1948 and CPing then you can keep posting and quite honestly I will stop posting on this subject.

You asked the question, shippy.
The State of Israel is as it is owing much to its Zionist ideology.
Defenders of Israel's conduct of its war on Gaza insist that it is all about nefarious Hamas and October 7th, as if there were no antecedents. Of course, there were antecedents!
There is a history.
And there is a perspective other than that emanating from Israel's 'Ministry of Truth'.

Do't let old Lord Jaw jaw get to you shippy.
His views on immigrants and asylum seekers are ignorant.

Israeli war cabinet minister Benny Gantz has threatened to resign unless Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sets out a post-war plan for the Gaza Strip.
"If you put the national over personal, you will find in us partners in the struggle. But if you choose the path of fanatics and lead the entire nation to the abyss, we will be forced to quit the government."

Seeking asylum is one thing. Zionist ideology required the exclusion of the non-Jewish population — that is something else, altogether! |
